Information about Larry:
Larry Moss Jolley is a life long resident of Weakley County, TN.
His early life and his activities of 4-H, Church, School & Community involvement with his parents, who were active across Weakley County, gave him an early appreciation of what Weakley County (Martin, Dresden, Greenfield, Gleason and Sharon, TN) and the surrounding area could offer.
Larry obtained a B.S. Degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1966, he later returned to the University to pursue his education in Accounting and Business Law before starting his career in Real Estate in 1983. Larry continues to take studies in real estate and in 2000 was recognized as a graduate of the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI).
Accomplishments:
Partner of H.L. Jolley & Son Farm from May 1966 to May of 1979 and sole Owner of H.L. Jolley & Son Farm from June of 1979 to October 1985. In 1983 he became a Realtor® and worked at Fuller Partners Real Estate until he opened his own successful agency, Larry Jolley Realty in August 1988 in Martin, TN and in February 1995 he moved his office to Dresden and has been in the present location at 732 Morrow Street since February 1999. In addition to his own Agency Larry is also actively working in Commercial Management for the University Plaza Shopping Center, Martin, TN since 1995, and Capital Development of Lacey, Washington since 2000. Larry is currently Project Manager for Thomsen Farm Development, Phase II, Jackson, TN
Extracurricular:
Larry has been past president and coordinator of the Weakley County Fair Association, a Weakley County Commissioner from 1978-1986, board member of Weakley County Nursing Home 1982-1986, President of the Weakley County Farm Bureau for three years, member and past president of the board of the Reelfoot Regional Association of Realtors®, Member of Tennessee Association of Realtors® where he serves on the Governmental Affairs Committee, as well as a member of the National Association Realtors®, Larry is an active member of First Baptist Church in Dresden, Dresden Rotary Club, Weakley County Chamber of Commerce, Weakley County Democratic Party, West Tennessee Chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity and Alumni Association, University of Tennessee Alumni Association, a Free and Accepted Mason and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, TN Iris Festival supporter for many years and a member of the Iris Festival Board, Past member of the Dresden Industrial Board, and Current member of the Dresden Planning Commission, and a member of the National Association of Realtors.
